Brylle/Jacobsen design was founded in 1965 and has its origins in the Scandinavian Design tradition of simplicity and functionality.
We bring this design tradition into lighting design alongside sensible choice of materials and optimized logistics, providing powerful design at very attractive prices.
Brylle/Jacobsen is probably the most distributed lighting designs over the last 50 years, we have stopped counting, but the 10 million mark has been passed.
Brylle/Jacobsen has a close cooperation with a number of designers, but the Design Board ensures a line through all the designs released from Brylle/Jacobsen. On your right hand side is a brief look on some of our designs.

THE STORY BEHIND:
In 1965 the artist Flemming Brylle and industrial designer Preben Jacobsen invented the self assembly/ knock down system in modern lighting.
They designed and produced a wide range of designs and spread them all over the world, millions per year.
The last years Brylle/Jacobsen designs have been more popular than ever.
The simple Scandinavian design make their designs a safe choice within contemporary lighting.
